[About Netrun. What is it?] ... Players play the netrunners - the ultra-advanced to-the-Edge 'crackers' of the turn of the century and millenium. Hardwired to their computers (something we still only dream of), netrunners bust into the ICE-protected fortresses of the evil Megacorporations, 'liberating' information for fun and freedom.

But, this is the bitter and twisted era of Cyberpunk. The Corps, like the 'runners, do it for the money.

At least it ain't the experience!

Features

This appears to be a list of game features - the kind that would appear in a three-page glossy brochure for the game (or a cropped version on the box :) ). Quite a few of these aren't yet implemented, and some may not even belong in this list, being too internal.

Storyline

I'm too lazy to come up with a storyline - however, it will probably have to do with reaching a certain level of power, possibly do something, then retire. Aagh.

Later development decided the goal was to reach rank 5 in a short a number of days as possible.

Here's an interesting quote that may or may not describe something:

`You patch in the last conneciton, making sure your wristplugs are tight. You slam down the "GO" switch. Instantly, your mind is filled with the grey white static of the drop to "on line". Then, with a sickening, falling sensation, you hurtle forwards into a maze of shifting neon shapes and spinning grid lines.

You're in the Net.'
